THE EFL STUDENT TEACHERS' DEBATE PRACTICE: PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS

Debate is considered as one of the best ways and interesting classroom activity speaking practice. It also most challenging practices among others. Furthermore, debate in foreign language generally helps English learners to develop their communicative abilities. Nevertheless, some learners’ still have problems doing debate. This study aims explore EFL student teachers’ strategies solve those practicing academic class at Universitas Muria Kudus. a qualitative research with questionnaire interview instruments collecting data. The result this shows that there were eleven faced by teachers class. Meanwhile, students implement seven problems. suggests lecturers know potential anticipate difficulties when teaching well inform about cope practicing.
